To apply for Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Jobs in December 2023, applicants must submit their applications **online**. Below is a detailed guide on the application process:

- The written test for this position will be conducted by M/s OTS, and the interview will be conducted by WAPDA.
- The general age relaxation of 05 years has already been factored into the age limit. An additional 03 years of age relaxation will be granted to candidates belonging to the following groups: Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Recognized Tribes of Tribal Areas, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir. This 03-year age relaxation will also be granted to candidates belonging to Sindh (Rural) and Balochistan for positions at BPS-15 and below.
- Disabled persons applying against the disabled quota will be granted a 10-year age relaxation.
- The upper age limit can be relaxed by up to 10 years for Government/WAPDA employees who have completed 2 years of continuous regular service on the closing date for receiving applications.
- Age will be calculated as of the last date for receiving applications.
- Only children of WAPDA employees are eligible to apply for the quota reserved for WAPDA Employees Children. Children of employees from DISCOs, GENCOs, NTDC, etc., are not eligible to apply for the WAPDA Employees Children Quota.
- Candidates already working for WAPDA must apply through the WAPDA HR Division and submit the required NOC/permission.
- Candidates applying under the WAPDA Employee Children Quota (ECQ) must submit the following required documents at the time of the interview:
- a. An affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper from the WAPDA employee and a certificate from the relevant WAPDA office confirming that no son/daughter has previously been employed under the WAPDA ECQ.
- b. Documentary proof of the father/mother's employment with WAPDA.
- Government employees must apply through the proper channel and submit the required NOC/permission.
- Educational certificates/degrees must be verified by HEC Recognized Universities/Concerned Boards/Institutes.
- Candidates must present their original documents at the time of the interview.
- The initial appointment will be on probation for a period of 1 year and will be subject to regularization based on satisfactory performance. However, employment may be terminated without notice if performance and conduct are deemed unsatisfactory during the probation period.
- Candidates who have been dismissed from service due to disciplinary grounds, as well as those who have been dismissed or barred from future employment, are ineligible to apply.
- WAPDA reserves the right to withhold or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
- No TA/DA will be provided to candidates for the test or interview.
- Applications containing incomplete or incorrect information or received after the deadline will be rejected.
- If any candidate's information is found to be fraudulent at any stage during the induction process or later in their employment, their employment will be terminated.
