The Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung is an independent political foundation affiliated with the Green Party in Germany. Its reach extends across various regions, with offices established in Palestine, Lebanon, Tunisia, and Morocco.
Applicants from Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Iraq, and Syria are eligible to participate in This summer school.
This Summer School will delve into innovative strategies for sustainable urban development and citizen engagement. The program will examine contemporary urbanization and gentrification patterns, exploring critical issues such as housing rights, secure public transportation, and the development of environmentally friendly and accessible public spaces within the cities of the MENA region.
This funded Summer School will provide a comprehensive program, featuring lectures, focused group discussions, round table exchanges, interactive workshops, an engaging excursion within the city of Amman, and ample opportunities for open dialogue among participants.
