The Queen Mary Global Excellence Scholarships for 2021 offer a £2,000 award to support your first year of studies. This scholarship will be applied directly to your tuition fees for the first year of your program at the university.
The Faculty of Science and Engineering comprises the following Schools and Institutes:
This course is delivered through a collaborative effort, with some components taught within the Faculty of Science and Engineering and others offered by different Schools.
The following courses, taught jointly, are eligible for the Global Excellence Award:
The aforementioned courses, which can be undertaken with a year abroad or industrial experience/professional placement, are also eligible.

To qualify for the scholarship, students must have earned overseas qualifications equivalent to A*AA at A-Level in the specified subjects listed in the offer. For details on equivalent grades, please refer to the spreadsheet provided below:

If your High School qualification is not listed, you might still qualify for scholarships. Please reach out to us at admissions@qmul.ac.uk and include your UCAS ID, the course you are applying to, and your full name. We will verify if your qualification is eligible. Scholarship awards will be confirmed to students only after we receive their final High School results.

To be considered for an award, students must submit information in their UCAS or Queen Mary online application.
The Science and Engineering Faculty Office will notify successful candidates of their award via email.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must confirm Queen Mary as your firm choice through UCAS. Please note that students entering via clearing or those who selected Queen Mary as an insurance choice will **not** be eligible.
