The Mexico Government Scholarship 2024 offers a fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue their studies in Mexico. This prestigious scholarship covers all essential expenses, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive learning experience. Details of the covered expenses are outlined below:
- Scholarships for mobility at the Bachelor's Degree and Master's degree levels.
- Research stays at the Master's level receive a monthly stipend of four times the monthly value of the Unit of Measurement and Update (UMA), currently equivalent to $13,202.12 Mexican pesos. The UMA is subject to legal changes. (Child support is paid a month in arrears).
- For PhD scholarships: Doctoral Research Stays, Postdoctoral, Medical Specialties, and Subspecialties receive a monthly stipend of five times the monthly value of the UMA, currently equivalent to $16,502.65 Mexican pesos. The UMA is subject to legal changes. (Child support is paid a month in arrears).
- Enrollment and Tuition Fees are covered according to the program at each Mexican Educational Institution, subject to the final decision of each Institution, which is communicated through the acceptance letter.
- Medical insurance is provided through the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), valid starting from the seventh month of the scholarship and lasting for the duration of the scholarship period. For Private Institutions, AMEXCID manages this insurance. For Public Universities, the insurance is handled directly with the Higher Education Institution.
- Exemption from the cost of obtaining a Mexican visa is granted.
- International air transportation is provided upon successful completion of the scholarship. The ticket is in tourist class and based on the flight route.

- If Spanish is not your native language, submit a copy of a certificate proving advanced Spanish language proficiency from a university or educational center. This must demonstrate a minimum B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference.
- Letter confirming that all information provided is true.
- All documents and forms must be in Spanish or submitted with translations into Spanish.
