Financial Benefits:
The Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) for the 2024-25 academic year in Malaysia is a fully funded scholarship. It will cover only the basic expenses listed below.
- This scholarship will cover tuition fees.
- A monthly living allowance of RM 1,500.00 will be provided.
- Successful applicants are expected to independently arrange their travel to Malaysia (no financial assistance provided). Travel expenses will not be covered by the Government of Malaysia.
- All applicants are strongly advised to research the expected living expenses in Malaysia.

- A certified copy of your academic transcript.
- Your academic transcript should include a complete record of all courses taken throughout your degree programs.
- Applicants must submit transcripts from their undergraduate studies.
- Applicants must provide an official document from their university explaining the university's grading system. This is required if the transcript does not include information on CGPA, marks, or score percentile. All documents must be certified.
- A certified copy of your English Language Proficiency test results.
- Letters of recommendation from two (2) referees (e.g., lecturer, supervisor, or immediate superior).

- Admission letter from a Malaysian University (if applicable).

Eligibility Criteria:
To apply online for the Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS), applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- The maximum age for Master's Degree applicants is 40 years, while for PhD Degree applicants it is 45 years.
- Applicants for a Master's degree must hold a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) or a CGPA of 3.5.
- Applicants for a PhD must hold a Master's degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or very good results.
- A written research proposal of at least 1,000 words is required, focusing on the chosen field of study.
- Proof of English Language Proficiency, such as IELTS or TOEFL, is mandatory.
