The Malaysian Government MTCP Scholarship for 2024 is now open to applications in Malaysia. Required Documents:
The following documents are required when applying online for the Malaysian Government MTCP Scholarship in Malaysia:
- Application form
- A certified copy of Passport as evidence of nationality (with at least 6 months of validity remaining);
- A certified copy of Academic Transcript;
- The academic transcripts must include a record of all courses taken throughout the degree program;

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Malaysian Government MTCP Scholarship, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Applicants must be no older than 45 years old at the time of application.
- For Master's Degree Programs, applicants must have a minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) or a minimum CGPA of 3.5 at the Undergraduate Degree level.
- Proof of English Language Proficiency is required:
- A scanned copy of the original proof of English Language Proficiency is required. Acceptable options include IELTS (minimum total score 6.0), TOEFL paper-based test with a score of 500, or an internet-based test with a score of 70.
- Applicants who obtained Degrees with English as the medium of instruction may also be accepted (evidence is required).
- Applicants must have excellent health as certified by a doctor/physician. The cost of the medical check-up is the responsibility of the applicant.
- Scholars must commit to full-time study for postgraduate programs at the selected Higher Learning Institutions (Please refer to the List of Universities).
- Applications are only open to candidates who have received offer letters from universities in Malaysia but have not yet started their studies or those who have registered for no more than one semester for a Master's Degree.
