Lakes Region Conservation Corps Americorps Program 2019
The Squam Lakes Association is offering six half-year positions for the summer/fall Lakes Region Conservation Corps (LRCC) program. The LRCC program provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of conservation.
Eligibility for the program extends to US citizens, US nationals, and legal permanent residents of the United States. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED, or be actively working towards obtaining one during their service term.

Here's what LRCC-SLA members get during the Summer/Fall program:
Dedicated to safeguarding the natural splendor, tranquil ambiance, and resources of the Squam watershed, the Squam Lakes Association is a non-profit conservation organization. As a member of the Lakes Region Conservation Corps (LRCC), the SLA participates in the AmeriCorps state program.
LRCC-SLA members are eligible for a range of certifications. These include scuba diving, weed control diver, and wilderness first aid.
LRCC-SLA members are provided housing on the SLA's campus. As part of their service with the SLA, LRCC-SLA members will also participate in overnight camping assignments, acting as caretakers for SLA's low-impact island campsites.
