Eligibility Requirements for Pakistani Students Applying for the HEC Chinese Government Scholarship:
- Applicants must be citizens of Pakistan or Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
- Applicants must have completed 12 years of schooling (FA/ FSc or equivalent A-level) and be under 25 years of age for Undergraduate Programs.
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and be under 35 years of age for Master's Programs.
- Applicants must hold a Master's degree and be under 40 years of age for Doctoral Programs.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Students must apply online through both the HEC Portal and the websites of Chinese Universities.

Required Documents:
Please note that all required documents must be uploaded online when applying for the HEC Chinese Government Scholarship. Hard copies of applications are not required at this stage. Incomplete or handwritten applications will not be considered under any circumstances.
- Submit copies of the Applicant's and their Father's/Guardian's CNIC.
- Provide a copy of the Applicant's Domicile.
- Include a copy of the HEC Online Submitted Form.
- Submit all Educational Degrees & Transcripts from Matric to the last Terminal Degree. These must be attested by HEC & IBCC.
- Complete the Chinese Online Application Form.
- A Pre-admission letter from Chinese Government Scholarship Universities is recommended but not mandatory.
- Provide a photocopy of the valid passport information page.
- Submit Two Recommendation Letters in Original. (for Masters & Ph.D. only)
- Include Two Recent Passport size Photographs.
- Submit Two Copies of the Applicant's statement of purpose.

- Provide a Non-Criminal Record from the Police Department.
- If employed, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the applicant's employer will be required from shortlisted candidates.
